Execution steps
- 01Click "Launch Fullscreen" or press "F" to start the dead pixel test.
- 02Use the Left/Right arrow keys or Spacebar to cycle through Red, Green, Blue, White, Black, and Gray screens.
- 03Inspect the display closely. A dead pixel will remain completely black on all colored backgrounds.
- 04Toggle the Magnifying Glass Loupe (press "Z") to zoom into suspicious pixels and inspect subpixel structures.
Diagnostic symptoms
- Dead Pixel: Permanently black dot on red, green, blue, and white screens.
- Stuck Pixel: Fixed color dot (red, green, or blue) that does not change on different backgrounds.
- Hot Pixel: Always bright white regardless of background color.
- Dust or Lint: Dark spot that shifts when viewed from different angles or is under the outer coating.
